Oxfam Hong Kong is looking for Chinese-speaking volunteers to work as facilitators for two summer youth programmes - Oxfam Club 2008 and Oxfam Youth Campaign Partners 2008. Facilitators will need to attend a training workshop before guiding and supporting the participants throughout the programme, from facilitating learning and discussion sessions, guiding participants on an overseas exposure trip, and supporting them to formulate and execute public action.
Now til May 15 Join Oxfam Club
We invite teenagers (Form 3 - Form 5) to become more aware of poverty and especially about the changing climate's impact on poor people. There will be workshops, action training sessions, and an overseas trip - and all members will help run a public event in Hong Kong to raise awareness of Climate Poverty. Members must be able to speak and read Chinese.
