Fundraising Manager – Appeals (Individuals Acquisition)
We are looking for a dedicated Fundraising Manager who is responsible for:
- Planning, coordinating and implementing all appeals for donor acquisition fundraising initiatives and activities to generate more regular income
- Developing and implementing the digital fundraising strategy to solicit fund/support from new and prospect donors and supporters
- Keep improving the effectiveness of existing public fundraising operations such as internet/social media fundraising, donor recruitment activities, school and kids fundraising
- Conducting analysis on fundraising market trends, exploring and developing new fundraising initiatives in Greater China and overseas markets
- Assisting in the development and implementation of fundraising strategy and working collaboratively with other fundraising managers on planning and budgeting
- Liaising with the Communications Team on the overall marketing and branding communications, production of promotional materials etc.
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Sales and Marketing, Business Management or relevant disciplines
- With at least 10 years’ relevant experience in fundraising, business development and marketing in which a minimum of 5 years in managerial grade
- Proven work experience in interacting with senior executives and business leaders
- Demonstrated creative and innovative thinking, high degree of initiative and commitment to income growth and goal attainments
- Research skills and attention to detail, sourcing information and statistics, assessing costs
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, and fluent Putonghua
- Proficiency in MS office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Identification with Oxfam’s mission and vision is a must
