aCCOUNTING OFFICER ii (2-year contract, renewable)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall account payable functions of finance team (e.g invoice settlement, expenses reimbursement and staff claims).
- Process payment requests accurately with relevant supporting documents and proper approval.
- Prepare vouchers and reconciliation of accounts.
- Assist in month-end closing.
- Support progamme teams on financial aspects of projects.
- Participate in system and internal control enhancement exercise.
- Handle any other job duties or ad hoc projects as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 2 years’ relevant work experience.
- Solid experience in accounting system.
- Experience in handling various means of payment, e.g. cheque, ACH transfer, T/T, FPS, etc.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel).
- Good interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, able to work under pressure with tight timeline.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Identification with Oxfam’s mission and vision is a must.
