0052 and 0053 “Fearless Dragon” Teams
‘Fearless Dragon’ team, composed of visually-impaired and hearing-impaired athletes who participated Oxfam Trailwalker for the first time, finished the 100km trail in only 32 hours 19 minutes. Mr. Bernard Chan, Chair of Oxfam Trailwalker Advisory Committee, greeted the teams at the Finish Point and presented them with certificates.
Kim Mok and Galant Ng, visually-impaired walkers of ‘Fearless Dragon’ team said, ‘We believe that a loss of sight is not a loss of view, and a loss of hearing is not a loss of perseverance. We will take the grueling trail as a demonstration of our own strength and as a challenge against our physical limitation, with a view to promote the integration of people with and without disabilities.’
