School Fundraising Activities

Oxfam strives to ensure people in poverty can also receive quality education. We encourage children and youngsters to recognize their identity as global citizens, to concern about the global poverty issue. Every year, we offer fundraising events to kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, to encourage students and teachers to learn about poverty and Oxfam's work in relieving poverty.

School organized Hunger Banquet fundraising event. Students experienced dining as either people from poverty or wealthy backgrounds to understand and reflect on the issues of unequal resource distribution.

Participating school nominated students as "Oxfam Rice Ambassadors" to set up rice stall for charity sales within the campus.
