Bring Hope to Impoverished Children
Chinese New Year is a time to celebrate the festival's traditions with family and loved ones, ushering in a prosperous year ahead. It is customary to receive lai see, aka red packets, each filled with blessings and hopes for the future. These blessings have the potential to transform into meaningful opportunities, fostering hope and carrying profound significance. They not only fulfill nutritional needs and provide education to underprivileged children, but also open their hearts and minds, boost their self-confidence, and empower them to shape their own futures.
This Chinese New Year, please send your blessings to the children in need. There are three types of lai see: “Heart-warming Lai See,” “Nutrition Lai See,” and “Education Lai See,” with amounts ranging from HK$388 to HK$1,288. Oxfam will use your donation to fund various poverty alleviation projects, helping to transform the lives of underprivileged children. Give your lai see to make a difference!
