Target Audience:
Suitable for kindergarten to tertiary students. Schools and institutions are welcome to apply. Families, general public, and corporates can also welcome to apply as a group.
Key Feature of the activities:
Fostering empathy: Through interactive approaches, such as theatre and community visits, participants can put themselves into the situation of the underprivileged.
Deepening discussions: Some workshops feature grassroots individuals or ethnic minorities as guest speakers. Apart from empowering them with their expertise, their personal experience can also help deepen the discussion with the students.
Global perspective: The activity design is based on the project experience and research of Oxfam international alliances. This helps to guide participants to reflect on the relationship between global developments and local poverty.
