Refugees x Handcraft
Through the inspiring stories of refugee women, participants will discover how craft-making can create opportunities for self-reliance and empowerment. The workshop highlights the challenges faced by refugees and explores how skills, resilience and creativity can help rebuild lives.
By giving second-hand clothing a new purpose through weaving, participants will experience the value of upcycling while reflecting on sustainability, resource conservation and solidarity with others.

Target: Senior primary school to tertiary students
Duration: 1.5 hours
Venue: On-campus / Oxfam Education Centre
Number of participants: 15-40 pax
Fee for this academic year:
Senior primary school and secondary school students: $110/pax
Tertiary students: $150/pax
